New for 2022

New for 2022 – New training programs for 2022 –  We understand that time is precious so we have developed 2 short courses we like to refer to as preventative first aid for managers..

Over a number of years at least 50% of bullying complaints I deal with are against managers who in many cases have managed employees, conducted performance management or a review or in some cases it’s something simple like sending an employee an email.

For 2022 we have developed two new Reasonable Management Action short course options;

Options 1 – Understanding Reasonable Management Action

A 60 – 90 minute course (depending upon the level of interaction from participants) that is recommended for managers and supervisors at all levels to help them to understand the difference between workplace bullying as defined in the Fair Work Act s789FD (1) and Reasonable Management Action as defined in s789FD (2).

This short course will train managers to understand that ‘Behaviour will not be considered bullying if it is reasonable management action carried out in a reasonable manner.’ Fair Work Act s789FD (2) details here

Options 2 – Understanding Reasonable Management Action & Performance Management to avoid proven complaints against Managers

A 90 minute – 2 hour course (depending upon the level of interaction from participants) that is recommended for managers and supervisors at all levels that in addition to helping them to understand the difference between workplace bullying and Reasonable Management Action also includes a section on how to conduct Performance Management to avoid proven complaints against Managers. Details here

All courses come with a workbook and the AWPTI Reasonable Management Action manual and the Procedural Fairness Manual including in the cost.

Like all of our other courses these short courses are conducted via Zoom or MS Teams and are Live by Request Training, this means that we run them at a time/date to suit your organisation with multiple attendees.

The courses can be run for individuals.  For organisations or businesses we have a flat rate with no limit on participants.

Courses delivered via the – International Workplace Management Institute

Since 2020 in conjunction with Australian Workplace Training and Investigation the International Workplace Management Institute has been delivering training via Zoom and MS Teams to a number of participants in countries we are not offering these courses worldwide. Details here

While laws and regulations may differ depending on the region, country and jurisdiction, behaviours such as bullying or sexual harassment are consistent world wide.  Best practice investigation processes are also the same where ever you are.

Our courses are tailored to the particular jurisdictions we are proving training to and can be customised to cover local policies and your codes of conduct.
