The principal of Australian Workplace Training and Investigation (AWPTI) Phil O’Brien is a highly experienced and skilled workplace investigator, Lawyer and former member of the NSW Police who can guide you through the minefield of workplace investigations.
Phil has extensive experience handling complex investigations in to all areas of misconduct including bullying, harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, fraud, theft and other interpersonal issues including assault, threatening behaviour and grievances.

After having worked for a number of years as a senior investigator for Wise Workplace and having built a respected and highly regarded reputation Phil decided that it was time to start AWPTI to enable him to provide a continually higher level of service and at more competitive rates.
At present Phil works with a number of law and investigation firms providing investigation and training services on a consultancy basis, and in addition is an adjunct lecturer/tutor at the school of Business and HR University of Notre Dame Sydney, teaching Business and Employment Law, HR policy and Employment relations.
Phil is a former member of the New South Wales Police and an admitted solicitor in NSW.
